The East Midfield Cargo Terminal (EMCT) is a world-class air freight facility located within the East Midfield district of Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport. As a key component of Abu Dhabi’s vision to become a global logistics hub, EMCT is designed to support the region’s growing cargo and freight needs while aligning with the UAE’s economic diversification goals. Spanning over 90,000 square meters, the terminal is engineered to handle up to 1.5 million tonnes of cargo annually, offering advanced infrastructure and operational efficiency. EMCT integrates seamlessly with the Al Falah Logistics Free Zone, providing multimodal connectivity that includes warehousing, consolidation, distribution, and re-export services.
BIMPro’s Role in Project Excellence:
Develop detailed BIM models, covering all the floors. Our team will deliver models at LOD 400 and LOD 500 stages for MEP services, including Builder’s Work. This approach ensures seamless interdisciplinary coordination and aligns with ISO 19650 standards and the project’s BIM Execution Plan requirements.
