Project Overview
The Warren Street project in London involves the renovation of Fitzroy House, a six-storey mixed-use building comprising office spaces with residential apartments on the upper floors, originally constructed in the 1970s. As part of the refurbishment works, BIMPro delivered a comprehensive Scan to BIM service, to accurately document existing conditions and support the renovation design and construction process.

BIMPro Role

BIMPro was responsible for executing the full Scan to BIM process, including conducting the on-site laser scanning survey, processing scan data, developing the phased BIM model, and preparing a comprehensive Scan to BIM report documenting accuracy, assumptions, and project findings.

Our Approach to Project Success

Maintaining close coordination with the client to ensure transparency, clarity, and alignment with project objectives.

Performing high-accuracy on-site laser scanning to capture reliable existing condition data.

Structuring the BIM model using clearly defined project phases to represent existing conditions and design proposals.

Preparing a detailed Scan to BIM report outlining modeling methodology, accuracy tolerances, identified constraints, and assumptions.

Verifying the BIM model against point cloud data through systematic quality control checks.
